"TOYOTA"
Can We Play Toyota?
What started as a simple observation became a creative challenge: if I were pitching Toyota New Zealand, what story would I tell?
Inspired by a real-life moment, Can We Play Toyota? is a self-initiated campaign concept built around a uniquely Kiwi truth once you start looking, Toyotas are everywhere. The film follows a family road trip where an innocent game of spotting Toyotas quickly turns into a fun, relatable adventure, celebrating the role Toyota has played in everyday New Zealand life for generations.
From the original insight and script through to storyboards, visual direction, and campaign presentation, this project showcases my approach to strategic storytelling—finding powerful brand ideas hidden inside ordinary moments. It's a campaign designed to feel authentic, emotionally engaging, and unmistakably New Zealand.
