I started this little project by thinking about what Atlas Concrete merch could look like if it felt true to the company—strong, straightforward and with a bit of humour.
The first ideas were simple: embroidered caps and a coffee cup built around the line “Drink Some Atlas Concrete”, with “Harden Up” tucked inside the rim. It felt like the kind of phrase that could live naturally in the smoko room, on site or out in the world without trying too hard.

Once I started playing with it, the idea went a bit deeper. Rather than stopping at merch, I began imagining what a full Atlas uniform could be—something recognisably hi-vis and functional, but with more identity and energy than a standard work uniform.
I pulled from rugby and team-kit language, using strong black and fluorescent-yellow blocking, stripes and oversized Atlas Concrete branding. The aim was to make the crew feel like a team while keeping the visual impact and visibility you expect from workwear.

What began as a few merch ideas quickly became a broader look at how personality, utility and pride could come together across the whole Atlas Concrete uniform system.
